Kenya holds a special place in my heart! At the present time there is a range
of conditions from severe drought in the north to floods in the south. The contrast
is stark with beauty & death in all its extremes. The slideshow below contains a few
images from July 2011.
SAMBURU
These young lions in Samburu, below, are not able to catch enough themselves & the older lions in their pride are reluctant to allow them to feed. The pride killed a young elephant but would not let them near the carcase.
