Pleased to report that M returned on 14th April. He is in great condition & has started to rebuild osprey hq. No sign of XL & I do not expect her to return now but hopeful that M will find another mate very soon. Still good reports of sightings throughout UK, so fingers crossed.
Much love. Val x

Thanks for the update Lovely pictures on this site Post a link on the OWGroup site
With so many losses this year of tagged juvenile ospreys I have indeed reconsidered & have decided against a satellite tracker.
I will continue to monitor & update with images & info
Thanks Eileen.
I would indeed like a picture of Tui. Sorry for not relpying sooner-home computer in dinosaur mode recently.
Hi from Kaka Point Nz. I met you through twitter and love your work, the Ospreys are absolutely magnificent and your portrayal of them demonstrates your skill and expertise, you asked for comments on your thoughts of attaching sat., trackers to the chicks, please don't as I would like to follow you but am against interfering with wildlife in this way. I am a passionate, obsessive with camera and take photos of our native species here and have seen the damage first hand with one of the tui that feed on my deck losing the leg that Dept. of Conservation placed rings on, within the week. There is so little of nature left unharassed and these magnificent creatures deserve to remain as they are. . . . Free to be free. . . just my thoughts, you did ask. Please reconsider for the sake of the birds, then I will be able to see your future work as these are the first Osprey I have seen. If you are interested I will send you a picture of a tui. Kindest regards EILEEN.
Hi, great pics. I found your site via Ron Bury's Wildlife site. I have an Ltl Acorn 6210MC and am just trying to get the MMS upgrade. A very good wildlife camera as your pics prove. Well done!
